Euro-Mediterranean and Transatlantic Agendas after the American Elections, por Roberto Aliboni

The objective of this intervention is to compare current European and the American agendas of civilian and political co-operation towards the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Although they have different focuses (the American military agenda wants to democratize the region) they both have points in common, which are analysed. Finally, the instruments used to promote reform in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and Transatlantic co-operation are addressed.
